NCS Graduate Opportunities – Read this to get involved!

We hope you/your young person had a great time with us on NCS this summer and we’d love to see you continue your journey through one of our graduate programmes.
 
Element Youth Board Induction Meeting
Date: 2nd October 2018
Time: 6pm until 7pm
Location: Element House, Arundel Street, S1 2NT
Info: Element Youth Board shapes everything we do as a charity! You’ll help plan next years NCS timetable, organise events & campaigns that young people across the city can get involved in and help shape the wider local community from a young person point of view.

Leaders in Training Induction Meeting:
Date: 3rd October 2018
Time: 6pm – 7pm
Location:  Element House, Arundel Street, S1 2NT
Info: This free training will cover modules in Leadership, Team Dynamics, Diversity Awareness and Communication Skills. This training aims to give you the edge when going out into the world and is also the first steps to take if you’re interested in working on NCS in the future.

Element Champions Induction Meeting:
Date: 4th October 2018
Time: 6pm until 7pm
Location: Element House, Arundel Street, S1 2NT
Info: Element Champions will help us spread the word about NCs in schools/college around Sheffield. We’ll get you branded up with hoodies and support you with some free training so you can help us shout about NCS opportunities for summer 2019!

Element Mentor Programme:
Info: We want to make sure every NCS graduate can get back in touch and chat with a member of our staff. Our Element Mentor scheme encourages you to sign up and have a member of staff as a mentor. We’re not experts but are happy to cast our eyes over your CV/uni application or support you with job applications and interviews.
How to sign up:  Email Rich on Richard.r@elementsociety.co.uk to chat about getting an element Mentor assigned.
 
Element Volunteer Brokerage Programme:
Info: If you’ve been inspired to continue making a difference in your local community but don’t know what steps to take next then this opportunity is for you! We’ll help you search for opportunities you might be interested in and support you with signing up to them.
How to sign up: Email Rich on Richard.r@elementsociety.co.uk and we’ll arrange you convenient day/time to chat with a staff member about opportunities.
