There is an update about your teen's NCS programme.

Please see below:

Update: 04/08/2021 @ 09:35

As you are aware, your teen's safety is a high priority of ours.

Since Monday, we have a positive Covid-19 case from someone who came in close contact with young people and staff.

Though this person did not present any symptoms whilst in our building (including no signs of a temperature after being checked with a temperature gun in the morning), the PCR test has come back positive on 03/08/2021 at 10:51pm.

You then received a message from us asking participants to stay at home isolating until we provided further information.

What happens now?

As groups are allowed to mix under the current guidance, we strongly recommend participants take a rapid lateral flow test. If this is positive, you need to arrange to have a PCR test.

Please note, we are not able to share names or information on who has tested positive due to data protection.

What about the programme?

Due to the circumstances, we will not be reopening our building, so NCS will not continue face-to-face.

If participants can do any work towards their social action project from home, then we will still be able to count you as a completer due to the circumstances.

If you can do any videos or online content this is ideal. You can then send any work you complete to [email protected]

If someone from your team provides a write up of what you still had to do, we may be able to continue your social action project later in the year.
