Gen Z: A Generation for Change

A youth-led activism project facilitated by Chilypep and Element Society.
Following the great success of our summer activism training, we are on the search for more future activists in Sheffield, aged 11-19 (Y7+), who want to lead their own campaigns that challenge social injustice and inequality. In October Half Term, from Monday 25th – Friday 29th October, we will be running a free week of activism training for young people which will culminate in a launch event, where you can present your campaign action plans to leaders and decision-makers in the city.

The sessions will take place at Element Society in Sheffield City Centre (S1 2GZ) from 10am-4pm each day, travel fares and refreshments will be provided. Please note that the lift at Element Society is damaged and as such the venue is currently not wheelchair accessible.

Youth Force

How do you want to stop the spread of Covid in Sheffield?
Our Youth Force group meets up once a week after school college, and do all sorts of things to try and keep young people in Sheffield safe during the pandemic. In the past, they've recorded podcasts, designed t-shirts and even interviewed city officials about the vaccine. Meetings are starting up again soon, so let us know if you want to get involved.

I'm interested!

Girls Collective

Our Girls Collective groups are for young women aged 14-18, who can come along to our activities, sessions, and talks run by inspiring women from in and around Sheffield for free. These sessions will inspire you to dream big and break barriers, give you some ideas for careers and jobs, help you learn how to help one another, and build skills that will help you in education and employment.

Check our Events to see if there are any Girls Collective sessions happening soon!
