NCS Sheffield - Element Society has partnered with Sheffield United Community Foundation and Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme to provide curriculum support to over 1,000 Sheffield College students.

The three organisations took full advantage of our (bookable!) recording studio and in-house editing to take NCS School Support digital!

The three partners have offered this support to all schools and colleges across Sheffield. Some of these schools had their support sessions delivered in-person as they were lucky enough to book their sessions before the notorious Tier 4 hit the city. This vital work is funded by The National Citizen Service (NCS) and the Department for Education to help pupils return to learning.

There are seven key themes covering health and well-being and team building and careers, enterprise, and citizenship. Within these themes, there are workshops covering CV and interview skills, diversity, dealing with fake news, being the best version of you, making a good first impression, planning a campaign, positive body image, budgeting and more!

Our team loves designing new workshops to meet young people's needs - so feel free to get in touch for a chat.

Will Earp, Element Society Programmes Manager, said:

Working in partnership with Sheffield United Community Foundation and Sheffield Wednesday Community Foundation has enabled us as a city to reach more students than ever before, especially during a pandemic.  The learning materials have given students the tools they need to help with their next steps.
