Element Win New Contract with English Football League Trust

Element has worked with the English Football League Trust (EFLT) to deliver the NCS programme since our establishment. Ultimately, through NCS, EFLT wants to deliver life-changing experiences for young people across the country. To date, they have worked with over 80,000 teenagers, helping them to realise their potential and reach their future goals. They supported Element with the organisation and design of our NCS programme, along with additional day-to-day assistance for staff to support young people on the ground.

EFLT was a managing partner of the NCS programme and went through an intense tendering process to win the new contract. Element Society was involved in this tendering process, supporting EFLT with supporting evidence to how the Yorkshire/Humber region provides amazing opportunities for young people through NCS, under EFLT management.

Will Earp, Programmes Manager at Element said:

We really appreciate how closely EFLT works with us, as it provided us with the level of support necessary to run the NCS programme effectively and to a high standard. The training that EFLT provide our team keeps us up to speed with contractual changes and most current information, but also the chance to develop our practice through networking with other delivery partners to engage with more young people in Sheffield.

Through delivering NCS in partnership with EFLT, Element has provided over 3,300 teens in Sheffield the NCS experience, giving them the springboard into further endeavours like College, University or the world of work. In every programme that we run with young people, we see a massive change in how they have matured in the time being with us, which is why we loved delivering NCS.
